It is sometimes problematic to go back and forth between two mediums as well as two totally different subject matters. I do Outdoor Art shows and have been juried into several shows for the spring, some with my Pastel body of work and some with my Acrylic Abstracts, thus the working back and forth. I am very excited about the abstracts and can't wait to see the consumers response to a whole display of them.
These are some new ones that I have been working on. I am working on painting series in the same color palette as to make paintings that will go together. This is what is done in the print world ( I worked for a while with a company that sold prints of my work) It is common that a buyer will purchase two or three paintings if they compliment each other.
I probably will not be posting much as I have three weekend shows in April and three in May, some are travel away shows so my time is very limited but I will try to keep you apprised of what is happening.
